Building intelligent frameworks to understand the brain.
Habenyx Labs is a newly forming initiative developing hardware and software for neuroscience research and neurological care — bringing science, medicine, and engineering toward one goal: better tools, better understanding.
Neurological disorders remain hard to study, diagnose, and treat. Progress depends on deeper understanding, better tools, and closer collaboration between science, medicine, and engineering.
Habenyx Labs exists to advance neuroscience research and build the technology researchers, clinicians, and institutions need to study and address neurological disorders — bridging science, medicine, and engineering into one effort.
Research & Technology
Research
Studying neurological disorders, imaging, and biomarkers to identify where current diagnostic and treatment tools fall short.
Technology
Translating those findings into hardware and software that improve diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and neurological research.
The long-term goal would be to contribute to more effective, lasting treatments and, where scientifically possible, cures.
Principles
Research before claims
No claim outpaces the evidence behind it.
Transparent methodology
Documented clearly enough for others to repeat.
Reproducible work
Built to be re-run, not just run.
Interdisciplinary review
Reviewed across neuroscience, engineering, and medicine.
Privacy and safety
Evaluated before anything else begins.
External validation
Findings held provisional until independently confirmed.
Building from the foundation
Habenyx Labs is newly formed and currently led by its founder. The immediate work is assembling the interdisciplinary expertise, research agenda, and standards needed to define its first formal projects.
Not yet in place
Built deliberately, not quickly.

Founded by Neal Joshi
Neal Joshi is a student researcher and software builder exploring the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, neuroimaging, hardware, and responsible research technology.
He founded Habenyx Labs to build the interdisciplinary team and technical foundation this work requires, starting deliberately from one person outward.
Help shape what Habenyx becomes
Habenyx is looking for people who want to help define its research direction, technical foundation, standards, and first projects.

The long-term vision
Habenyx aims to become a research and technology organization capable of developing hardware and software that improves how neurological disorders are studied and addressed alongside contributing to the scientific foundation needed for more effective, lasting solutions.
